He didn’t plan on going to the Evening Standard Film awards ceremony, but changed his mind when Thom Yorke called him a coward: “We tend to avoid these things as Radiohead, but Thom made me come. As soon as he said he would, I thought it would be fun to go.”

Thom Yorke told BBC Radio 1: “We watched the film last night and I was really proud. The weirdest thing was I recognised loads of the melodies because I have heard him play them on the piano. I was hoping to nick a couple of them but unfortunately they are on the film!”

There are no other soundtracks planned: “This year is all about Radiohead and a baby,” Jonny said. Therefore he will not be attending the Bafta Awards for which his score is nominated, because Jonny is likely to father another child on the date of the ceremony: “I might need to be closer to her than the awards ceremony.”
